Kitty Sweet Winslow received a B.S. in Fine Arts from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York and a Masters Degree from Hartford Art School. Her work has been shown throughout the Northeast including two solo shows at the Nicholas Davies Gallery, New York, New York and a solo exhibition at the New Britain Museum of American Art, New Britain, Connecticut. Her work is represented in many public and private collections. She has received two Individual Artist Grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. In addition she received a Pollack Krasner Foundation Grant in 1987. She completed residencies at Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, New York in 1987 and the Edna Saint Vincent Milay Colony, Austerlitz, New York in 1998. She has traveled widely including time spent in Syrbu Bensi, a Tibetan Refugee Camp in Nepal. Currently she lives and works in Rockland, Maine.
